How Do You Listen To Music?
Tue, January 28, 2014
When in doubt about lyrics (and even when you know them like the back of your hand!), you hum. Your friends often say you sound like a tuning fork – well-tuned and otherwise. Well, at least you spread good vibrations wherever you go!
You bob your head up and down, perfectly in sync with whatever’s on your playlist. Skipping a single beat is something your neck won’t support. Here’s a heads up: people around will assume you’re extremely agreeable if they don’t notice your high-tech-but-barely-visible earphones. We suggest you learn to read lips, before you accidentally nod when someone says “Share your beer, bro!”
You have your headphones on, and your favourite song is on. How do people identify which one it is? Like a seasoned mime, you act out each sentence, bringing the track to life with actions and expressions, thus giving rise to impromptu rounds of dumb charades often. Keep this up, getting a beer at a noisy bar should be a breeze!
We all have that one song we can’t help dancing to, singing every word and adding gestures to boot. But you don’t limit yourself to one song. No, you have a set of practised moves for every song you’ve ever listened to. Very entertaining, for sure! Crack open a beer, and keep dancing bro!
