Four Beer Snacks We Wish Existed
Fri, February 22, 2013
Great food completes the best beery experiences. But sometimes, don't you wish there was something new to munch on? Here are some snack mash-ups that we think will hit the spot the next time you decide to sit down with a Kingfisher beer.
Why It Would Rock: We've always wondered what that spicy potato fry would taste like with a bit of crunch. We're betting it would taste awesome. And why stop there? Substitute the spicy chutney that comes along with the tikka with some cool mint mayo, and you have a beer snack that's tater-great!
Why It Would Rock: Now this is one chick that's going to be everyone's type! We imagine this as a plate of crisp nachos, drowned in hot liquid cheese. And to top it all off, chunks of smoky, juicy tandoori chicken. We would scoop it all up, and sit back and enjoy the Indo-Mexican-mariachi party in our mouth. Fuelled by beer!
Why It Would Rock: The creaminess of cheese blending with crunch of nuts. Sinful, right? We think the tangy masala will play up the garlic in the cheese, leading to a riot of flavours on the palate. It only gets better with a gulp of Kingfisher.
Why It Would Rock: To bring this gastronomic wonder to life, get those DIY packs noodles, order in some Chilli Chicken (dry, not gravy) and toss the two together. Next step? Crack open a can of Kingfisher and enjoy the pairing!
The idea of inventing new snacks is because, well, even every menu in the world won’t have what you really, really, want! So go ahead, mix and match those delicious goodies. You never know what culinary treasures you might come up with!
And even if the experiments don’t go well, don’t bother. You will always have some Good Times to fall back on, if you know what we mean!
